House Concerts & Soft Seater Theatres
Managing a great contemporary folk singer/songwriter and storyteller. . .20+ years experience. . .4 indie albums & awards to his credit. Currently doing his third soft-seater tour in Newfoundland. I'm looking to export this talent to access a greater/more diverse audience base.
House concerts sound like a perfect fit for this artist. .. but I have heard that in some areas, the house concerts are more focused on traditional instruments and have an element of a music class/jam in which the audience brings along their instruments to play along? Any information on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I haven't been to a TON of house concerts, but the ones I have been to never involved the audience playing along. give it a try. Look up 'Pump House Concerts' in East Lansing on concertsinyourhome.com and drop me a line!
