Never gets old . . . my 5 yr old daughter was watching over my shoulder and asked "Why does he slop/slap the drums instead of drumming them?"

Wow, thanks so much for this clip. I love Joey Baron's drumming. As a former (but not good) drummer, the first thing I hear is always the drums, and poor or even mediocre drumming inevitably ruins the music for me, no matter how good everyone else in the band might be. This is an increasing problem with the music that loosely falls into the ND framework.

I feel a bit of the same way. While the music doesn't get ruined for me if the rhythm section is mediocre, when it is really clicking it is very noticed by me and appreciated.

I can go see Wilco and watch Kotchke the whole night.
