So, I was talkin' to the boys in Truckstop Darlin' from Portland, Or. last week at a show we did together in Seattle. If you're not familiar with these guys, I highly recommend you check 'em out. Truly wonderful. Anyways, I was told, if I have the story straight, that they all happened to meet at a regular jam session / get-together / hoe-down in Portland at a place called the Barn. Just wonderin'; does anyone know of any such place or event in the Seattle / Tacoma area? I'd like to get to know the roots community around here a little better, and I'm not havin' a lot of luck puttin' my new band together through Craigslist (surprise, surprise).
