Permalink Reply by John Graveling on December 19, 2012 at 1:56am "Deja Vu" always wins, hands down. From the wonderful gold leaf print work to the stick-on black & white photo. Classic.
It wasn't always just about the outer cover, take the middle open out album spread of The Allman Brothers band "Eat A Peach". "GP" with the lorry and it's hay bales. There are so many great covers and inners and it's an artform that has largely been lost due to the scaling down with cd jewel case designs, although some of the work on digipaks almost replicates the good old days :-)
