Hi folks,
My debut EP, "Don't Be Mad Cuz I'm Late" is now available on iTunes. Included are 3 originals and 3 covers by a few of my favorite songwriters, Joe Ely, Butch Hancock, and Steve Earle.

The EP includes my song, "Burn Down With Willie", which was mixed by Daniel Barrett of the award-winning Austin roots-rock band, Porterdavis. A demo of Burn Down With Willie mad its way into Willie's hands awhile back and he actually called me to offer his compliments.

Hope you all can stop by my profile here or on myspace: www.myspace.com/montybranham to check out a few samples.

Peace,
Monty

This may just get lost in the mix here but I'll post it anyway. Just wrote and recorded a Brand New song called ROADS and it has already shot up to #1 on Somojo Internet Radio. The song is dedicated to all my motorcycle riding friends and all the motorcycles I have had in my life. You can check it out here on MOG:

PS: Some Mac users have problems with the player in Safari so alternatively you can view a video on YouTube here if MOG does not work. Audio on MOG is much better though and lyrics are posted on MOG:

Here's a song I wrote with Chris James handling melody and home demo work. It's called "Carver of Wood & Wind" and is about Gram Parsons and his early musical cohort Bob Buchanan, whom I visited in August and is carving these huge totem poles out of cedar logs after working 30 years at the Saginaw GM plant. He also co-wrote Hickory Wind with Gram. Will James (pls join discussion of anything Gram at Gram Parsons Project Board under My Groups). The song is on my main page under My Music.
I have some videos and one song posted here, but theres more stuff posted on my MySpace page.
