I want something twangy but fast. Uncle Tupelo and Slobberbone, The Gourds and Two Cow Garage type stuff, but fast, fast , fast. Like a Hoedown on meth.
Anything like that?

Hard to find that combination with decent songwriting but you might want to try Scott H Biram, Chris Knight, Reckless Kelly, The Paper Hearts  and older Blue Rodeo and Lucero. No one makes a track 1 to track ? disc such as No Depressions greatness but if you sort through all the horse shit you're bound to find a pony you can ride.

A little punkier but with the same sensibilities try the Nothingtons.
