Are you going to the AMA's?

Hey,

 

We are gearing up to head to the AMA's for the first time and wondering who all else might be there and what you're doing there?

The lineup is stellar. I am really looking forward to it. Would love to know who from the No Depression Community is going to be there.

Will be there. On Friday I will be part of a panel with Chip Taylor and according to Chip's management, Dave Marsh.

I will be covering for No Depression as well and writing and posting each day of the conference. So far, setting up interviews and figuring out which showcases I can make....

I'll be there, too, covering for ND of course. I'm in a panel on Friday about PR and the press and the internet. Looking forward to meeting Terry! I'm looking forward to catching the Jayhawks, Amanda Shires, and Ben Sollee. I'll definitely be at each of those shows. Haven't mapped out a full schedule yet, but maybe we can all plan a ND meetup. I know Mando Lines will be there Wed & Thurs too...

I will be there wed. - sun., I am really looking forward to seeing Amanda Shires also, Pokey Lafarge, The Wilders, Jayhawks, and so many more!

Sooooooo much great music!

I'll be there with New Country Rehab who are showcasing FRIDAY at midnight,  at The Basement so will def. be there at that time! Look forward to running into ND folks. Andy Washington (ND UK) is there also.  

I'll be trying to get to as many panels as can be fit in as well.

Look forward to Terry's  and Kim's panels, plus the great music. Also, I welcome everyone to the panel I'm moderating at the Country Music HOF & Museum's Ford Theater on Thursday Oct. 13,  from noon-1:30 (your badge will get you in): "Land Of 1000 Dances: The Groundbreaking Sounds of Muscle Shoals." We'll have such legends as Rick Hall, Spooner Oldham, Dan Penn, Candi Staton, Jimmy Johnson, Donnie Fritts, Norbert Putnam, and David Briggs discussing their Alabama roots and the music they created there.

I will be there.  Just enjoying the good music.  Not a better venue to catch a lot of good musicians at some great venues.  The AMA show is always great.  See you all there.
