Americana channel on Music Choice

Music Choice, the music channel line up on Time Warner Cable systems, has this week eliminated their Americana channel. If you are also bothered by this, they have a form here for commenting on the new lineup changes: www.musicchoice.com/channelchange
They eliminated the same channel a few years ago, and if I recall correctly, complaints helped reinstate it.

What is even more objectionable is that they replaced the Americana channel with a Spanish Romanece Channel. This is the USA not Mexico.

They're also eliminated the Bluegrass channel. If you send in a comment, you might want to request that they add back both the Americana AND the Bluegrass channels.

Man. All I have left are a few cool podcasts and Sirius Radio to scratch the Americana itch .

For that matter, I'm not happy with the direction satellite radio is taking. I really liked the "cross country" station on XM, but since the XM/Sirius merger it's been replaced by "outlaw country," which, to my tastes at least, is a little too county and not enough "alt." I also think The Loft station on XM/Sirius is becoming a bit too mainstream. It's getting harder and harder to find good new discoveries. Thank goodness for this ND website!

Added my 2 cents too! I loved that channel!!! It was on almost 24/7 around my house! Oh well they have heard from me hopefully many others will Join in!
