KRFC Fort Collins Colorado 8AM - 10AM Mon-Fri is mostly Americana based ... www.krfcfm.org ... also Saturday's from about 10 to 3PM is a good time to check out old country and bluegrass.

Also, Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, and Fri from 12AM to 6AM is largely Americana. If it's one mixed by me you'd recognize the mixes by me by the deep voice at the top/bottom of hour that says "you're listening to the overnight mix on KRFC Fort Collins"

And, though it's not just Americana, my syndicated program, The Colorado Sound, does tend to have a roots/Americana focus ... Saturday 5PM - 7PM Mountain ... find out more at www.thecoloradosound.com

Playlists available at www.spinitron.com then under the KRFC link

My local favorite is KVNF.org. One of the last community owned PBS stations in the country. I may start doing an all vinyl show in Nov. Dr. Mikey (and his vinyl psyche) Sat. nights from 9:30 to 12. We play all kinds of music from country, alt-country, rock, classical, jazz. Nobody tells us what to play and it's really great. In the middle of the mountains in a beautiful valley. We broadcast to 10,000 square miles of our part of Colorado. Highly recommend you check out the new website. Personally, I play all kinds of music. Just go with the flow.
