Lorrie Morgan, a prominent country singer in the '80s and '90s was the daughter of George Morgan, a country singer from the '40s-'70s.

This is after he lost his original deeper voice and had to sing differently.

Here's what he used to do (not a great recording but you get the idea)

Peter Lewis...singer/guitarist from Moby Grape...is the son of actress Loretta Young.

Pat Boone - Debbie Boone anyone?

Soupy Sales sons Tony & Hunt in Tin Machine with David Bowie

You got Liza Minelli, but her half sister Lorna Luft is also a fine singer.  There are children who lead tribute bands like Mercer Ellington and Tito Puente, Jr.  I guess that leads to Hank Williams, Jr. and III.  I am fond of Folk Uke, a duo comprised of Amy Nelson (as in Willie) and Cathy Guthrie (as in Arlo). They're sweet and salty like a Margarita.

Somehow, all y'all missed Bonnie Raitt.  This is my favorite

Thanks for posting Folk Uke. I've seen the three Guthrie sisters do this song with Arlo earlier this year and totally spaced on it.
Folk Uke are great, but I didn't realize they were Nelson and Guthrie.
I left out one more.  David Grisman's son Samson plays bass with several top notch players (aside from his Dad).  Here he is backing up Sarah Jarosz.
I enjoyed reading Larry McMurtry's Lonesome Dove while listening to his son James.
