Southern Strings was formed in August 2009. They are a hard-driving bluegrass group with a traditional sound. The group currently consists of 4 members who all reside in south-central Kentucky. A unique blend of traditional bluegrass music with a modern sound -- Jake Vanover: Lead Guitar/Vocals, Scott Miller: Mandolin/Vocals, Tommy Lewis: Bass/Vocals, Matt Cromer: Banjo/Dobro.
